About Shannon
Lane 9 Consulting partners with leaders and organizations in the social impact sector to drive transformational results. As a Black-owned, BIPOC-operated firm, our mission is to advance justice, expand opportunity, and ensure lasting impact in communities nationwide.
Shannon Wheatley grew up in Ohio [anecdote of youth] and went on to have a successful track career at the University of Tennessee (go Vols!) where he ran the 400 meter dash. When competing on the biggest stages, Shannon learned first hand how difficult it was to win from Lane 9 - but he also learned what it took to train and achieve greatness no matter what position you are given.
He then became an educator and worked and led schools across Houston, Oakland and Sacramento. He took with him his experience working with and building teams to…. (something about working with C-suite/execs/leaders)
